Why give?

  • Advocacy is difficult work, but with funding for events and resources, we can build a stronger team to support Lander students.

  • Students deserve the best advocacy at every level. Whether it is supporting board policies that promote strong educational goals or providing more personalized advocacy, we believe every student deserves the best.

  • When they say it takes a village to raise kids, they mean it. As part of that village, we strive to support families as they learn what it means to be a part of public education.

  • Knowledge is key. With proper resources and access to information, we empower families and students to advocate together.

  • A school is only as strong as its weakest teacher and we know that teachers lead best when they feel supported and seen. We advocate for teachers as well.

  • Public education is the foundation of a community. The tools and skills our students learn today will shape them into the leaders of tomorrow. Sometimes, they just need a little bit of extra help. We are here to do that.

 FAQs

  • First and foremost, your donation will be used to provide quality local advocacy and educational events, bringing in professionals from around the state to share their experiences and knowledge. Then, your donation will provide support for infrastructure - the day-to-day of the work.

  • We want to grow enough to provide a competitive salary for an Executive Director. Your donation may go toward that salary. We also want to continue to host larger and more in-depth events and activities for families.

  • No. We are not affiliated with FCSD #1, though we often partner with staff and administrators to collect the knowledge necessary to make connections with families.
